Plant Distribution Event
On dated 17.09.2025, at Shri O.H. Nazar Ayurved College, the programs “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0” and “Plant Distribution Program” were organized.
In today’s time, environmental conservation has become extremely important for the survival of humanity. Trees play a vital role in our lives by providing oxygen, food, medicines, and maintaining environmental balance.
As part of this initiative, students and staff took a pledge to plant a tree in the name of their mother. Since a mother is considered the first teacher in life, this campaign aimed to cultivate a sense of love for the mother, responsibility towards the environment, and cultural values among the students.
The program was presided over by the trustee and honorary secretary of the institution, Shri Hemantbhai Topiwala, who delivered an inspiring address on the occasion.
This initiative was carried out in celebration of the 75th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, as well as the 129th birth anniversary of Vaidya Bapalal Shah, the first principal of Shri O.H. Nazar Ayurved College — contributing meaningfully to environmental awareness and sustainability.
Objectives:
• To take a step toward combating global warming through tree plantation.
• To spread the message of cultural values and emotional sensitivity by honoring mothers.
The entire program was successfully organized by the Department of Dravyaguna and the NSS Unit of the college.
